Digital radiography is the latest way to take and evaluate x-rays. With digital x-rays, less radiation is needed to produce high-quality images. These images can then be evaluated by Dr. Dewey on a large flat-screen monitor. This allows for easier detection of any problems. With such a large image, it is also easier for patients to see and understand what is happening with their teeth.

3M Lava Chairside Dental Impression System
Dewey Dental is proud to be one of the very first dental offices in the state of Oregon to have the 3M Lava Chairside Digital Impression System. This system will allow Drs. Jeff and Julie to take "video" of a tooth that needs a crown, onlay or bridge instead of using a mouthful of impression material to capture the shape of the tooth for the lab. This video is sent, in real-time over the Internet, for fabrication of the dental model from the data that the video has captured. This system will ensure excellent fit of crowns, bridges and onlays, which will ensure the impeccable quality that Dewey Dental patients have come to expect and deserve.
